Walk (or Adopt) a Shelter Dog — Kauai Humane Society
Kauai has a serious dog-overpopulation problem and the Kauai Humane Society in Puhi runs a 'Field Trip' program where visitors can sign out an adoptable dog for a beach walk, hike, or a full day out. Bring them back at closing — or bring them home. Adoptions to mainland visitors are free and include the flight kennel.
