Ocean Safety — Please Read

Never underestimate the power of the ocean, especially in Kauai. Many of our beaches have strong currents that can change in an instant. Please don't put your life, the life of a loved one, or the life of a rescuer at risk. We recommend swimming at beaches with lifeguards and encourage anyone visiting a non-lifeguarded beach to exercise extreme caution and never swim alone.
